 Group Fitness Timetable – November 2018

This group fitness timetable is current at 9th November 2018

Northern Timetable (Butler, Mindarie, Alkimos, Quinns) 

Day  Time  Program 
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays  6.30 – 7.15 am  Walk, Jog, Move (moderate) This is a combination of walking, jogging intervals and interval strength training.  
Mondays, Saturdays  7.30 – 8.15 am   Seniors Walk, Stretch, Move (low intensity). Walking, stretching and functional exercises 
Mondays, Saturdays  8.30 – 9.15 am  All welcome – Walk, Run, Move (higher intensity, intervals of sprints and intense strength challenges to time) 
Mondays, Wednesdays  4.00 – 5.00 pm  Parents & Kids – Walk, Play, Move  – Partnered exercises and activities, on the move. Mums and dads can join in or walk and follow behind.

(Parent and child $12)  

Mondays, Wednesdays  5.30 – 6.00pm  All welcome – Walk, Jog, Move (moderate) This is a combination of walking, jogging intervals and interval strength training.  
All of these group sessions are continuously moving groups of varying intensities. We meet at a particular location in the suburb, we use the walking portion as our rest, 30-45 minutes each program gets you in and out quickly, keeps you moving so you don’t get a chance to get bored, it’s a “follow the leader” format.  Just bring a towel, hat and water and remember to put on sunscreen! Skinny September – Wednesday Plan!

Balsamic Beef & Sweet Potato Mash (click here for today’s recipe, the quantities are for one person so just double it, etc)

WEDNESDAY

Brekkie – Protein shake with Berries, cinnamon, honey. 250mls

Snack – Greek yoghurt and mixed nuts.

Lunch – Grainy Roll with salad and your choice of protein

Snack – 1 x piece of fruit

Dinner – Beef (or if you are vegetarian, make this recipe with a large field mushroom).

Exercise – Brisk walk, including intervals per yesterday’s plan. Add in some lunges, squats, push ups and tricep dips, try sets of 10 – 15.

Stretch, relax, read or do yoga late in the evening to wind down.

Remember to write in your “me” Diary!

Outdoor Group Fitness

$15 per 40 minute class at various locations and times.

This month’s training includes:

– Cardio-kickboxing – choreographed exercise to music
– Circuit Intervals – using various equipment for both cardiovascular and strength training
– Cardio and Bands – an interval training workout using stretchy bands to tone and strengthen
– Lengthen and Tone – using only bodyweight to tone, lengthen and stretch.

Outdoor Programme

Starts November 30 – December 23 (8 Sessions)

Numbers limited to 6 per group.

The Programme

Includes 4 weeks access and introduction to the online Nutrition Complete Weightloss Planner.

You will also receive a full health screening and body composition analysis to keep you on track on the lead up to Christmas.

2, 45 minute sessions per week at either time.

Do all 4 sessions for another $100 and receive 2 for free!  (save $30)

4.30 – 5.15pm Cardio and Bands

Short intervals of cardio alternating with strength training.

5.15 – 6.00pm Boxing Intervals

Boxing exercises alternating with cardio and strength training.

4.30 – 5.15pm Bootcamp Bodywork

This workout is performed entirely using your own body, cardio and strength training.

5.15 – 6.00pm Strength, Cardio & Stretching Circuit

This is a circuit class incorporating a number of different stations to strengthen, stretch and burn fat.
